What is espresso coffee?

Espresso Coffee is:

Brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water under pressure through finely ground coffee beans.

Espresso is generally thicker than coffee brewed by other methods due to a higher concentration.

A single espresso is approximately 7g of ground coffee to 30 ml of water.

Our preferred espresso coffee is the House Blend – Platinum Blend.

Brewing methods for espresso range from the Jura Bean to Cup Machine, to small domestic machines, pod machines down to more traditional stove top espresso makers. Personally, we have started to use the Aeropress for our portable espresso maker.  It’s really easy and can be used anywhere, even whilst camping.
